Join us in conjunction with Marion Natural History Museum to explore some of Mattapoisett’s unique natural areas including Ned's Point Lighthouse, Aucoot town beach, the Mattapoisett river, Landtrust properties, various salt marshes, bogs and ponds. We will be exploring the different types of forests at Nasketucket State Park. Each day the children will enjoy endless activities including hands on exploration, experiments, crafts and journaling while being outdoors. Your child will enjoy being a Nature Explorer under the leadership of Elizabeth Leidhold, Director/Lead Educator at Marion Natural History Museum. Space is limited so make sure to register early for this summer program. Perfect for girls and boys ages 8-13.
Each week will be different areas - so do 1 week or both!
Please plan on sending your child with water shoes and a peanut free snack and drink.
Summer Schedule
Week 1: July 22nd through July 26th, 9-12 pm
Week 2: July 29th through August 2nd, 9-12 pm
Age
Perfect for girls and boys ages 8-13.
Location
A schedule of drop-off/pick up locations will be provided prior to start of program. In event of inclement weather program will be held indoors in the MATTREC room at Center School.
Cost
$150 per participant/week
$10 Sibling Discount for each additional sibling signed up to participate in this program. Use code "sibling discount" during the registration process.
