TriTown Volleyball Academy

🏐 TriTown Volleyball Academy – Now Forming Club & Training Teams!​

TriTown Volleyball Academy is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural volleyball season! Based out of Old Hammondtown School in Mattapoisett, our academy is dedicated to developing young athletes through quality instruction, skill development, teamwork, and a love for the game.

TriTown Volleyball Academy is open to athletes from any town. Although practices will be held in Mattapoisett, players from all communities are welcome to participate.

Club/Travel Teams (11U & 12U)

Our Club/Travel program is designed for athletes who are ready to take their game to the next level through competitive practices and tournament play.

​

Season Information

  • January through the end of April/early May

  • Approximately 14 weeks of training

  • Two 2-hour practices each week

  • 6–8 tournaments throughout the season

  • Club Tuition: $425

  • Tournament fees will be divided equally among team members once schedules are finalized and will be another separate fee

  • Separate uniform fee (game jerseys and team apparel)

  • AAU Membership required (approximately $22)

  • Includes a TriTown Volleyball Academy Practice T-shirt

Age Eligibility

TriTown Volleyball Academy will field 11U and 12U teams.

Players may play up an age division but cannot play down. For example:

  • Athletes ages 8–10 may try out for an 11U or 12U team if they are ready for that level of play.

  • Players eligible for 12U may not play on an 11U team.

Please refer to the USA Volleyball Age Definition Chart to determine your athlete's age division.

  • Monday, July 13 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

  • Tuesday, July 14 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Tryout Fee: $20

Tryout Information

  • Players are encouraged to attend both tryout sessions.

  • If you can only attend one session, please notify the director in advance.

  • Please arrive 20 minutes early for check-in.

  • Wear court shoes and knee pads.

  • Bring a water bottle.

  • Due to limited gym space, parents are asked to wait in the hallway or outside during tryouts.

 

Athletes will be evaluated on volleyball fundamentals, athletic ability, coachability, effort, and overall team fit.

Players selected for a club team will receive an offer and must submit a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure their roster spot.

Training Team (Non-Travel)

Not ready for club volleyball? Our Training Team is a great option for athletes who want to improve their skills without the commitment of travel tournaments.

​

Program Details

  • Mid-March through the first week of May

  • 7-week program

  • One 1½-hour practice each week

  • Focus on fundamental skills, game play, teamwork, and confidence

  • End-of-season volleyball tournament

  • Includes a TriTown Volleyball Academy T-shirt

Tuition: $125

This program is perfect for athletes looking to continue learning and improving in a fun, positive environment.
